Complete TV Management System Guide
Step 1
Register Your TVs
Start by registering each digital display you want to manage:
- Click "New TV" at the top of the page
- Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "Main Lobby Display")
- The system will generate a unique authentication token
- This token will be used to configure the Android TV app
Each display requires a unique token. Never share tokens with unauthorized personnel.
Step 2
Configure the TV App
With your TV registered, set up the physical device:
- Install the Android TV application on your display
- Enter the authentication token during initial setup
- The app will automatically connect to this system
- Status will change to Online when connected
Displays require constant internet connection to receive content updates.
Step 3
Upload Media Content
Before creating playlists, add your media files:
- Navigate to "Media Library" in the main menu
- Click "Add Media"
- Upload video files (supported formats: MP4, MOV, AVI)
- Add metadata like title, description and duration
- Media will be available for playlist creation
Pro Tip: Use clear naming conventions for easier playlist management.
Step 4
Create Playlists
Organize content into scheduled playlists:
- From your TVs list, click (Playlist)
- Click "New Playlist"
- Name your playlist (e.g., "Summer Promotions")
- Drag media items to the timeline
- Set playback order and schedule
- Save - content will sync automatically to displays
Create multiple playlists and switch between them as needed.
Step 5
Monitoring & Management
Monitor your digital signage network:
- Online indicates active connection
- Offline requires troubleshooting
- Last sync time appears below status
- Click to edit display details
- Use to remove unused displays
